Charles Lorway, QC (In Memoriam)

Charles Lorway, Q.C, practiced for over 35 years. His main areas of interest were Property Law, Wills and Estate Planning, Probate of Estates, Commercial Law and Family Law.

He had successfully pleaded cases in these and other matters in Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia-Family Division, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia-Trial Division, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, Appeal Division, and the Federal Court of Canada. Mr. Lorway received his Q.C. in 1987. He was been active in the affairs of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society and in various community organizations during his professional life. He was a member of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, the Cape Breton Barrister’s Society and the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Lorway passed in 2021. Our firm continues to service his clients.
